Yes, there will be major renovations at several Disney Theme Parks.
Disneyland Resort- Disney California Adventure - The park is renamed (formerly Disney's California Adventure Park) to accompany the continued renovations. Beginning in 2008, several areas have expanded or been rethemed, including Buena Vista Street, Hollywoodland, Cars Land, and Paradise Pier. World of Color is now open, and construction is expected to finish in 2012. During this time, a revamped Star Tours will open, as well The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Undersea Adventure.
- Magic Kingdom - Fantasyland is expanding to include the Toon Town area, making room for areas based on Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty, The Little Mermaid, and Tinker Bell. Toon Town will remain open until early 2011.
- Epcot - Captain EO replaces Honey, We Shrunk the Audience at the Imagination pavilion. Cantina de San Angel in Mexico has been closed for major renovations and will soon feature a new quick service and table service restaurant. Italy also opens a new restaurant called Via Napoli.
- Disney's Hollywood Studios - Star Tours closes in September 2010 and will reopen sometime in 2011 with a new 3D film including references to the newer Star Wars trilogy.The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror also received enhancements for the Summer Nightastic events.
