The Catholic religion is the original Christian religion. All other Christian denominations can trace their roots back to the Catholic Church. Since there are about 33,000 Protestant denominations, it would be impossible here to discuss all the differences.

I assume you mean Christian religion, in which case, Catholics are Christian. But Catholics are the only ones that believe in the Pope, the guy that lives in Rome with the cool hats. Yeah, that one.

No, Christianity and Catholicism are one and the same. The Catholic Church is, and always will be, the first Christian Church. Other sects that followed might be called 'knock offs.'
