Not really, for a webcam it might be OK. 0.8 Mpx translates to about 320 * 250 pixels.
Look for video capability that is 1024 resolution or higher. Avoid VGA.
Megapixels are just one measure of a camera's quality. The quality of the lenses is just as, if not more important, in terms of picture quality. And, pixels vary a lot in quality--some are smaller than others, and result in worse picture quality. You can find 5 megapixel cameras for $90, and others for several hundred dollars. The difference in price is due to better mechanics and better optics. A tiny plastic lens, no matter how many pixels the sensor has, will give you crappy photos. A good lens, on the other hand, can give you clear crisp photos with 2 or 3 megapixels. And too many megapixels is not necessarily a good thing--more megapixels mean larger file sizes, which will fill up your hard drive (if you store them on your computer) quickly. 5 megapixels will give you files which will let you print 8x10 photos without a problem.Other things which will determine how clear your photos are include:Proper lightingLens qualitySteadiness of cameraProper focusProper shutter speedClean sensor/lensIf you are concerned about photo quality, read some reviews of the camera you are interested in on-line, or go to a camera shop (and not an appliance store that sells camera) and talk to the staff and try out the camera.Check out the links below for more information.
i dont think so... i guess it depends on the camera you want to get. an average computer screen is over 800 pixels tall. if all you are talking about in your camera is the display, then maybe. how good the display is says nothing about how good the camera is. but if that is all you are getting out of the picture, then absolutely not. a pixel is like, the size of a pin-point.
No, but if you download the app night camera, it takes good light images, even in the dark.
I think a Kodak camera would be your best choice. They are good quality and take first class photos.

no this is not a good camera, 0.3 megapixels is really low && you want the highest amount you can get. 8.0 megapixels is about average. you want to get your megapixels from there && up
The quality of a camera depends on more than the amount of megapixels it has. With computer screen resolution at around 100 dpi and photo printers between 200 and 300 dpi, the difference in the quality of your photographs will depend more on your skills as a photographer than on the equipment. A good photographer will be able to capture a high quality photo on a 6 megapixel camera. The quality of the camera equipment will also depend on the manufacturer.
Look for video capability that is 1024 resolution or higher. Avoid VGA.
High quality 4 *6 pictures isn't a problem for a 2 megapixel camera.For a good 8*10 photo you need a 4 megapixel camera.
In 1970, Smith and Boyle built a CCD (charge-coupled device) into a video camera with image quality good enough for TV broadcasting In 1981, the first consumer camera that did not require film was produced by Sony, the Mavica (Magnetic Video Camera) electronic still camera. In 1986 Kodak created the first sensor that could detect megapixels. The sensor produced a 5x7 inch digital print. In 2006 Nikon and Canon stopped producing film cameras. Cameras could now detect up to 22 megapixels. Mobile phone had built-in cameras that could sense up to 4 megapixels.

A good high-quality picture phone is one that has a camera that has at least 6mp. 6 mp = 6 megapixels. Try doing some searches online and you should be able to find a phone.
The most basic is their point and shoot digital model which is only 8 megapixels but still has a good range and relatively good picture quality for such an inexpensive and small camera.
