In school we are reading a very detailed book about smallpox and a kid almost threw up in our class. Because of this reason I'm not going to share the details of this skin disease but if you want to know how disgusting it is just look up pictures of smallpox on Google. Our teacher was planning on showing us some pictures of it the morning before but when she saw them she threw up before school so she changed her mind.

A very famous virus called the Black Plague was around then and it was very contagious and many people dies from it. They were even scared to walk out of their houses. Doctors would go to peoples houses to see how they could help but it was no use because they just got the virus in the end. People thought it was a punishment from God so they would punish themselves with canes and all sorts. At one stage they all thought they were going to die so they wasted all their money on alcohol in the tavern (pub) because they fought they would be dead by the morning. They all managed to survive though and it was one of the most brutal diseases ever! But we are still here thanks to our generations! :-)
