I have found that this problem is caused by a faulty door jam sensor. Usually the sliding door sensor is the problem. All you have to do if it is the sliding door is replace the sensor or simply try to clean it off. You will be able to find a mini fuse in your fuse panel for the dinging, but make sure that is the only use for the fuse it is found on newer cars to be used by other components of the vehicle also.
Usually that means the doors are open. If they are closed, its probably the door switch. Easy and inexpensive part to fix. Its the little black switch located on the B- and C-pillars near the latch. Two screws and a electrical quick disconnect and its out. Install is reverse.
You should be able to pull the fuse for the daytime running lights to disable them. Probably located in the fuse panel under the hood. There should be a picture on the inside of the lid which tells you which fuse is which.
