Community college, lol.
Depending on the university, you may get in with a 2.5 GPA and a 20 on the ACT.
depending on you gpa i think 20 or higher
3.0 GPA, SAT Verbal or Critical Reading of 500, and ACT English 20. (Also, a portfolio of 10 to 15 pieces needs to submitted for review.)
Your ACT score indicates you are about average, perhaps slightly accelerated. Your GPA indicates that you school adequately; grades are no indication of intellectual ability beyond that of being able to adapt to the environment of school. Keep in mind that there is no shame in being average (or slightly accelerated). A 20 on your ACT is honorable, be proud of your achievements.
For undergraduate students the requirements are a minimum GPA of 2.5 and a minimum ACT score of 20 or SAT score of 950
X/20-1 ,71/20-1,=2.55 GPA
The is no minimum but the median is a 3.0. Lowest is 2.0 and need a 20 on the ACT's, 2.75 or high aren't required to have a ACT or SAT score.
If you are a resident of Mississippi and...you have a 3.20 GPA or higher, you do not need to submit an ACT score.you have a 2.50 GPA or higher or are in the top 50% of your graduating class, you must have a composite score of 16 on the ACT to be automatically admitted.you have a 2.00 GPA or higher, you must have a composite score of 18 on the ACT to be automatically admitted. If you are not a resident of Mississippi and...you have a 2.50 GPA or higher, you must have a composite score of 20 or higher on the ACT to be automatically admitted. If you do not meet these criteria, you are still encouraged to apply. There is still a chance you will be admitted.
This depends on many factors, are you applying to BYU-Provo, BYU-Hawaii, or BYU-Idaho? Some schools are easier to get into than others. Your GPA will be combined with your ACT or SAT scores, so if you have good test scores your GPA can be lower. Are you being recruited to play sports? Your GPA is of much less interest then. Also if you are not a Mormon or do not live in Utah, you will be more likely to be accepted, regardless of your grades. In recent years, the acceptance rate for freshman has been 70%, with the average person having a 3.8 GPA and a 28 ACT or 1250 SAT score. Note that BYU does unweighted GPA's, meaning that Honors, AP, and IB credit does not give you extra GPA points. The highest GPA possible is 4.0. You can check out their admissions averages at the "Related Links" below to see where you stand.
