Its under your dash to the left of your hood latch to open up your hood. There is a black cover on it that you'll need to remove. On the cover is a diagram of all the fuses underneath. The driver window relay will be shown as the very top left fuse. it is in the driverside door it is a little brown relay with a screw whole on each end I had the same exact problem, I just loosened the three mounting bolts on the window motor and it went right up. re snugged bolts,greased the track and any other moving parts I could get to. works like new.

Often the plug in connector at the drivers side switch can becaome loose and break the connection. Remove the switch and check this.

Remove the 1997 Chevrolet Suburban drivers side door panel. The window mechanism will be visible. Place the new window into the window track. Secure the window to the track.

probably a fuse or power window relay both are located under the dash on the drivers side there is a black cover over the fuse box.
cANNOT GET THE DRIVERS SIDE WINDOW UP, IT IS PARTWAY DOWN AND HAVE TRIED SPRAYING CLEANER IN IT, NO GO. WHAT DO I DO? The switch, or relay, for that window is faulty, or worn out (since drivers window is most used). Replace it.
The power window fuses and relay should be on the passenger side dashboard facing the door. take the panel off and on the panel it should be labeled... more fuses on the drivers side ...
