If you wash a lens cloth with normal laundry soap will it harm your eyeglasses in any way when you use the cloth to clean the glasses?
Not if you rinse out all the detergent residue from the cloth before drying and using it.

Either soap or detergent depending on formula. If you actually specifically meant laundry soap then it is soap, as they contain only soap not detergent. Most modern laundry …cleaners use only detergents not soap. Most of the other ingredients (except for fillers) are there to make the clothes look cleaner without cleaning anything.
It has to be rinsed completely so that it won't stay on yourclothes and stick to them like chalk. If the detergent isn't rinsedproperly then it will just sit on your clothes.
How do you get rid of body oder on clothing Even after the clothes have been washed they smell like laundry soap and bad BO.?
Try putting a cup or two of plain ol' white vinegar into the rinse cycle with the clothes. It won't harm the clothes and helps take out perspiration stains too.
It is not actually soap, it is detergent. Soap cannot be used in a washing machine because it froths up too much. You can actually use soap to hand-wash clothes.
Not really.. Laundry detergents are almost identical between different brands, even though they wouldn't let you believe this!. Detergents have molecules with one side that …prefers water (hydrophilic), and another side that prefers oils and fats (hydrophobic). The hydrophilic side attaches to water molecules, and the hydrophobic side attaches to oil molecules. This action allows the oil droplets to break up into smaller droplets, surrounded by water. These smaller droplets are no longer stuck to the material to be cleaned, and are washed away. So in answer, only the density of the molecules in the detergent would 'clean' better, a comparison would be a stain remover to a conventional cleaner.. hope this helps!
If you were testing how well different laundry soaps cleaned your clothes the control group would be?
The control group would be the clothes that didn't get washed.
Detergents such as soap solubilize the water-insoluble hydrophobic substances from the cloth while water solubilizes the water-soluble substances. Once the substances are solu…bilized, they can be washed away.
Babies have much more sensitive skin than adults. A strong laundry soap might leave residue on clothes. THis residue could be uncomfortable or dangerous for a baby.
That is because a very small residue of soap can remain in clothing after it is washed, and this can irritate sensitive skin, such as that of a baby, if the soap is too strong….
i think by chemicals inside the cleaner that activate by moving water and maybe by biodegradable surfactants

You can wash your eyeglass cleaning cloths with your regular laundry, just avoid fabric softener because it will make smears on your lenses.
