I live in the countryside, and we have apple trees in our backyard. There are also some down the road next to a horse farm. Apples fall to the ground and typically get eaten by animals, the animals roam and disperse the seeds. The seeds take root and sprout. So naturally, apple trees do not grow in orchards. Us human want more apple trees in one area for the convenience of harvesting for profit. We plant the trees in orchards.
apples can fall off trees at any time at all it happens when it is ripe

Many of alpacas do love carrots. They also love apples. We have apple trees at the bottom of our pastures, and in the fall, when they hear one drop, they take off at top speed from the shelter area! There are also pear trees which they also like, but apples are their favorites.
The mathematical statement of 2-1 can be done with apples by stating "If you have 2 apples and you take away 1 apple, how many apples would you have left?" The answer would be 1 apple.
