if u married an illegal alien u dont have a status so to speak, but u need to get him a green card, or he will get deported and whoever is married to him will have 15 yrs to life in jail for housing illegal aliens
Not necessarily.
If the immigrant in question was inspected upon entry (meaning they originally entered legally and overstayed a visa) and do not have any criminal convictions either in the United States or abroad then their marriage to a US citizen can permit them to become Permanent Residents (and eventually naturalize if they so choose).
The marriage must be genuine and not for convenience and sufficient proof of the marriage's genuineness must be provided to USCIS when the US Citizen Petitioner submits the application.
In situations like this it is always recommended that you retain a reputable Immigration Lawyer to assist you with the application process to ensure that the supporting documentation and applications are properly prepared and compiled.
MAYBE. I say maybe because to gain a 'green card' the illegal MUST leave the country after the marriage and attend an interview at a local US embassy in their home country. Because they were illegal in the first place you will need strict factual evidences besides a marriage certificate to prove there is an actual bona fide marital relationship. Otherwise they will deny it and ban them. If they are accepted, they WILL need to pay fines for having been in the country illegally. If they eventually get a green card, three years later they can apply to become a US citizen.
Be aware, however, that marrying a citizen does not automatically make an illegal alien eligible for citizenship. Specifically, a foreigner who illegally entered the United States and later married a citizen may only become eligible for legal status after leaving the US. for 5 or 10 years before returning.
If, however the US embassy determines that the illegal entry was "for the SOLE purpose of marrying to obtain citizenship", the marriage will be annulled and the alien will be banned permanently from entry into the US.

Yes. If the illegal immigrant marries a citizen, they can become a citizen from that.
No, marrying a US citizen or a permanent resident does not grant the illegal immigrant legal status regardless of whether there is a child involved or not.
If they're in the country legally, they should apply for US citizenship.
no
It is legal in the United States for an illegal immigrant to marry a US citizen. Once the marriage is legal, the illegal immigrant becomes a legal immigrant and can stay in the US for the course of the marriage.
Check with the laws in your state before getting married, but in most states, anyone who marries a United States citizen can become a US citizen, and thus be legal.

No.
Yes, a person can marry an illegal immigrant, but that doesnt mean that it will lead to the immigrant getting legal status.
no not unless they where married to a USA partner.
She is so so bs bushes and so so ugly
Shoplifting isn't a serious crime, however, if the shoplifter is illegal and the police find out, it's a huge possibility that the illegal could be deported. If the immigrant is a legal U.S. citizen, then no.
