Yes, if they are married, the stipulation of "not associating with other known criminals" obviously does not apply.
do the goverment really gives clemency to felon convictions, and if given can a resident apply for citizenship
As a felon you don't have any rights. You lost them and if you are applying for a US citizenship you won't get it.
You must be aware that many times a felon will be deported after serving his time. I would seek professional counsel and apply for permanent residency if already married ASAP. thus if your time is longer than 3 years you can apply for citizenship. It is an uphill battle but get your papers in order ASAP.
i would like to know, if I'm a felon can i get a passport to travel to the Philippines to get married ?
As long as your not an aggravated felon, under immigration law.
An executor of a Will CAN have a criminal record, however, they MUST have regained citizenship. If citizenship has not been restored then another has to be appointed.
A very bad idea; I guarantee that there's nothing in this for you. There are laws against marrying someone for the purpose of their gaining citizenship. But a felon? I'm pretty sure there are laws against an alien with felonies gaining citizenship even if married to a US citizen. So you would have messed up your life for nothing. Consult a lawyer before you do anything further in this relationship.
yes, but the felon may not have access to the gun.
if they change they're name and apply
If you're trying to get an American Green card, forget it. America doesn't allow criminals to become American citizens, unless the reason you were charged as a felon was due to political injustice then you may apply as a refugee, however, you wont be able to become a citizen. A option would be to try and join the U.S. armed forces. After 2 years of being in the military, you will free of charge and tests become an American after proving that you are reformed from your "questionable" past.
A felon isn't going to be permitted a firearm for any reason.
