Yes. Even the meekest person can come to a point where they've been backed into a corner one time too many and come out fighting. When someone mentally abuses you, they are scarring your mind and soul. If you don't get out from under the control of these types of people they will rob you of feelings, confuse you as to who you are and what you are capable of. Tell this person to take a hike! Good luck Marcy
Most certainly yes. Anxiety > frustration > aggression > abuse.
When you are stressed or have abusive relationships anxiety can cause a pschosocially bad health.
Yes, depression and/or anxiety issues can cause abusive relationships, although there are many other reasons why abuse is caused, such as lack of intimacy, jealousy and many other things.
Until she is willing to realize that she is verbally abused, there is nothing you can do. She may well have most of it under control, and, there is the possibility that her mate may not be well. Sometimes medications or certain diseases such as stroke, diabetes, depression, etc., can cause people to appear abusive. You're a good person to worry about her, but don't fight her, try to learn from her and where SHE is coming from. Let her know you are there for her. You'll gain more from her this way, then by telling her how she should act on this problem. Good luck Marcy

I believe you're speaking of a condition called aphasia which can cause a person to have trouble verbalizing thoughts to affecting them in such a way where they're unable to speak at all. I cant verbally express my thoughts as much as my peers can. I mix words around and cant finish a complete sentence. I have been looking for the same answer for many years now. Alot of people say its an anxiety and others believe its something with my brain. I am able to express myself proficiently through art and writing.
