If a black hole was to form in the second dimension what would happen to the second dimension and would it effect the third dimension hypothetically speaking?

assuming of course that something flat could have mass, which it might not be able to, then a black hole could form. it would suck in other objects, growing slowly in size. there would be an event horizon, singularity etc. however, although it would have a major effect on the 2nd dimension, in the 3rd it's mass might be greatly lessened by comparison to other objects.
I don't know, of course. This is just a thought.
Edit:Really, the 2nd dimension would just blow apart and the 3rd wouldn't be coz dimensions are actually separate. if the 2nd and the 3rd were right next to each other then the black hole would have sucked us all up about 300 million years ago.
