I tested 4 days before my period and it was positive then I had cramping and took my period one week after having my period a test showed still positive what does this mean?

Unfortunately, it most likely means that you miscarried. Nearly 20% of all conceptions spontaneously terminate before the 20th week; 80% of THOSE take place before week 12. It simply means that the body was not quite ready, or the fertilized egg was not fully healthy.
