I regularly follow the technical articles on internet and come to know that LG is the best 3D TV brand in terms of implementing new 3D TV technology Is it true?

Sadly, you may have been misled. LG televisions have been the subject of a sustained, organized and co-ordinated spam campaign over the last year or two. Numerous question and answer sites (including Answers.com) and review sites have been affected by hundreds of questions that are answered with gushing praise for LG technology and pricing.

The result is that no positive report of an LG Television should be believed because there is so much LG spam around.

Currently, LG is generally seen as a mid priced manufacturer of televisions with premium brands like Sony and Samsung above them and the lower cost vizio, Technica and unbranded models below them. It is also worth noting that the 3D technology adopted by LG is based on cinema technology from more than twenty years ago. It is far from new although the LG implementation is new in that they halve the resolution of the image in 3D mode, something that does not happen in true cinema technology.
