I just cram them up my badge with a sawed-off broomhandle. I use a little hockeystick tape on the broomhandle to eliminate slips. The first few times I used this broomstick method I went 'barebroom' and I inadvertantly slipped and slugged my box, I bruised my vulva, and got one of my press-on naild stuck on a lip, which I cut when U went to pull away... But I digress...I then discovered the tape and hopefull that will keep such shenannigans from happening again. Make sure you sand the broomhandle too, splinters can be a bitch...

Inserting a tampon is hard at first but with some practice you can master it. Tampons are awesome because you can play sports, swim, and do other activities without the gross feeling of a pad. First, explore your body and get comfortable. Try to find the hole (you can never insert if you don't know where the hole is). Next, wash your hands!!! This is the most important part of the process. You don't want any infections and just think about how many germs are on your hands. Next, open the wrapper to the tampon and hold it in a comfortable position. Try putting your middle finger and thumb where the two tubes meet and put your index finger at the end of the skinny tube because this is where you will push the tampon in. Spread your legs and aim the tampon inserter into the vagina. For some people, they might have to aim it at angle. Others just stick it straight up there and it gets in. All people are built differently, so everyone inserts the tampon in a different way. Next step, push the tampon in. At first you may think that it isn't going in, but moving the tampon around your vaginal area can help find the exact hole. Once you find the hole, push it in. You may feel as if it isn't even going in, but it actually is, you just can't feel it. Once you have pushed most of the tampon in and your fingers are touching your skin, you can use the smaller tube to push the tampon in. The tampon should get in there and you shouldn't feel it. If you do, then you didn't put it in far enough. If this occurs, GENTLY pull it out using the string and start with a new one. I hope that this explanation helped!!! Good Luck!

It took me awhile to get one it so don't get dicouraged. Well first relax. I recommend putting a towel over your bed and laying down. Wash your hands and get a tampon then open. Push the tampon up at a 45 degree angle. Relax. Relaxing is important otherwise you wont be able to get it in. If you have trouble watch a relaxing movie to calm you down. Slowly enter it. If you feel the slightest discomfort the hold, close your eyes, and relax, then continue. This may take several tries. REMEMBER RELAX!! AND TRY TRY AGIAN!

Try using a small amount of Vaseline or KY jelly on the tip if insertion seems difficult.

As long as you're relaxed the tampon will come out.

If you struggle then go do something relaxing, rather than getting frustrated which will just make you (and thus your vaginal muscles) tense-up even further, or try masturbating as when aroused the vagina naturally relaxes and opens. If the tampon is stuck as it's dry then try sitting in a shallow bath and help the water reach the tampon in order to moisten and soften the tampon a little bit.

What happens if you insert a tampon over the grip?

If you insert the tampon applicator past the grip, you may find it challenging to remove the applicator, but I'm sure you will get it out. There is no great concern.

When you insert a tampon do you keep the bigger tube on?

No, when inserting the tampon all you're inserting is the tampon itself and not the applicator.Applicators are just a means of inserting the tampon without you making contact with your genitals, they're actually not needed at all. The applicator is not part of the tampon so you remove it once you've used it to insert the tampon. If using tampons you should understand how they work and how to insert.

How do you change a tampon?

You simply pull the tampon string gently but firmly - or insert clean fingers vaginally to grab the tampon itself in order to remove. Once removed you wrap-up the used tampon and throw in the waste bin, or if you'reusing reusable tampons clean out in the sink. You can then insert a fresh tampon or reinsert the reusable tampon - although it's best to alternate with pads after tampon use.

Why does a tampon have a string?

Some tampons have strings in order to make it easier to remove the tampon. Not all tampons have strings, to remove you would insert clean fingers into the vagina to grab the tampon and pull out.

Insert a tampon in the wilderness?

You can insert a tampon in the wilderness just like you would insert a tampon anywhere else. Make sure to pack anti bacterial wipes for your hands before use, then insert as normal. Take any wrappers and used tampons with you in a plastic disposable zip-lock bag. You may find options like menstrual cups are better in situations like this, they can be worn for 12 hours and there's no waste.

Do you pee from were the tampon goes?

No, you urinate from the urethra and a tampon goes into the vagina. Both the vaginal opening and the urethral opening are right next to each other within the vestibule of the vulva, but they are not the same hole and it is not possible to insert a tampon into the urethra. A person can urinate as normal when they are wearing a tampon.

Is a tampon hurtful?

A tampon should not hurt you if you're using it correctly. Tampons can hurt if you tense-up during insertion, if you insert at the wrong angle, if you don't insert high enough, if you use too high an absorbency, or if they hit your cervix. Tampons also have health risks such as Toxic Shock Syndrome, and tampons can expand into the cervix which can increase menstrual cramps.

Is it strange if you cant insert a tampon?

If it is your first time not at all! It takes practice. If it isn't your first time you just probably need to get a smaller size and get in a comfortable position and remember to stay calm! Don't worry and know you'll be fine! :) Hope this helps!
