yes they are good but if you want killer bass i would go with the Skullcandy skullcrushers. They cost $5 more and have mini subwoofers in each ear piece. The bad part about he skullcrushers are they take a AA battery but they still work great without the battery.

I have tried both and they are great headphones. If you are looking for bass and good sound, get crushers. If looking for a choice of color and are on a budget, get Hesh 2

Definitly the skullcandy skullcrushers. They have an amazing bass. I would get those for sure if your into rap/hip hop.
Are Skullcandy headphones worth the price?
Ok I am from Utah and I have a friend who works with Skullcandy on almost a daily basis. I bought a pair without really researching how much other headphones of the same quality were. They were destroyed (not their fault though)and I thought about getting another pair. I started looking at the specifics of the headphones and realized that you could get the same setup at Walmart for $17 minus the Skullcandy logo which is what you are really paying for. If you want the image you will pay for it. But I found better quality for less. The good thing about Skullcandy though is their warranty. Like I said, mine got ruined, and it took a while but they sent me a brand new, upgraded, pair which I am listening to right now. Not bad business but if I had to do it all again I probably would have just got similar headphones without paying for the brand name.
What headphones are better. Skullcandy lowriders or aerial7 chopper 2?
Skullcandy itself is a very cheap brand; using "stylish" looks to lure customers into buying expensive, nice looking headphones (that end up looking scratched and worn out after a month), but the sound quality is terrible; tinny and scratchy. Aerial7 on the other hand is an amazing brand. Their headphones and earbuds have great (and better) sound quality, better build, better looks and are available for at least half the price of Skullcandy headphones. For example, the Bullet series sound crystal clear, have unique designs, and a great build, are available for only $24.99, while a pair of Skullcandy's with quality not even close to that would look cool but cost at least twice as much. I myself do not own Chopper2's but I've heard great things about them and they should definitely be your pick. Skullcandy itself is a horrible choice and you should definitely stay away from their products no matter the situation is, or you'll be wasting your time, your money, and abusing your ears. I own a pair of lowriders (purchased for $59.99 at Future Shop around a 2 years ago), and the moment I bought them, I regretted it because they just sounded terrible. Heck, my $24.99 Aerial7 Bullets sounded 10x better than them. In short, Aerial7 is definitely the way to go; they simply have amazing headphones and earbuds (not to mention sound beanies :D). Skullcandy IS NOT THE WAY TO GO. Don't even go near them. P.S. if you're looking for other good headphones, check out a brand called UrbanEars; they work wonders ;)

Bluetooth headphones are a better option because it allows you to be hand free and it is a great program. You could choose other programs, it is all up to you and what you are looking for.

Beats by Dre headphones are much more high end then smooth headphones, they have better bass and more noise canceling than smooth, but they're very expensive so if you're looking for headphones that are just okay for a cheap price, smooths are the way to go, bu you're in to more high end headphones, beats are the best.
