Science has improved crops, cured disease and extended life spans. We expect science will continue further strides in these areas, so that life spans may eventually double or triple. Technology improvements will continue opening communication pathways around the world. We already have translation services that allow people of different languages to talk to one another.
I expect greater integration between people and machines, such that eventually we can store memories and experiences in static RAM and have those memories indexed to make their retrieval easier. Eventually we may be able to retrieve someone else's experiences as easily as we can our own, vicariously living alternate lives.
