The King deceased says there is a possibility that Tongans are the natives of South America then fled to the Island now called Tonga. Also the Tongan ancestors are the same ancestors as the Samoan. So that means that there is the possibility that Samoans are also the natives of South America. But they fled to, of course, Samoa. I am Tongan and it will be really cool if I was the native of a land that people do not know who were the very first people to live there. :)

Tonga originated from Samoa and of the lapita people the first polynesians of the south pacific warfare broke out in Samoa do to the tu'i manu'a kings of Samoa islanders fled to other islands thus the name Tonga and Tonga started to build there own kingdom tu'i Tonga.tu'i ha'atakalaua,tu'i kanokupolu.they came back and conquer all of the pacific including Samoa
