athenian society was ruled by men. women were not treated well at all. they were only good for bearing children as the men prefered to be pleasured by other men. slaves would do most of the errands as women were not allowed out of the house.

Well it all started in 701 B.C when Augustus took the throne in Athens and tried to over rule the king of the western empire of Rome, once it was divided to East and West empires, but it was organized that men were up top and women were not. men had the rights whill the women followed the men.
