Recovery mode on ipod touch is when your ipod touch shows a connect to itunes sign
hold the sleep button
You can use it by getting it unlocked
i have this probleme to, i have a 3G ipod and its jailbroken and i wanted to update it with itunes but he gives an error on itunes, now it is stuck on recovery mode, and he can not restore with itunes
Restore it on iTunes on your computer or put it into recovery mode then restore it
Hold sleep and home until it turns off. More likely the ipod will turn off in less then 30 secs no need to download the other softwears to get it out of recovery
i don't
Recovery mode is for when your iPod becomes bricked (the software becomes corrupt, it's unusable) or you simply wish to format (completely erase and reinstall) the data. If it is in recovery mode, it's set to be formatted. -Q
weena
you can't
It means iPod Touch is not in Airplane mode. (Airplane mode disables all signal emiting and reciving (Bluetooth, Wi-fi)).
If you have forgotten your iPod Touch password please follow the following steps.1. Plug your iPod Touch into your computer via USB and open iTunes if it does not automatically open.2. Hold the sleep/power button and the home buttonon your iPod Touch for 30-40 seconds until the device reboots and your iPod Touch prompts you to connect to iTunes.3. iTunes will detect that your iPod Touch is in recovery mode and will guide you through the restore process.Note: This may wipe all data from your iPod. There are more technical ways to resetting your password but this is the safest and easiest way.If you get a "-18 error" simply disconnect your iPod Touch from your computer and restart iTunes. When iTunes has loaded back up reconnect your iPod Touch via USB and iTunes will detect your device is in recovery mode as before. This time you should not get a "-18 error".
