Year, make, model, engine size & symptoms might get you an answer, other than that we just guess. Probably did in the fuel pump if it's in the tank because running it low on fuel will cause it to fail. Most in tank pumps rely on the fuel to keep them cool and running low on fuel will cause them to fail prematurely (seen it happen as often as 1 - 1.5 year life expectancy). If the pump is in the tank try kicking the bottom of the tank to jar the pump to see if it will start (steel toes work best) and if it does get the pump working replace the pump right away as it will die again real soon.

make sure battery is charged, make sure it has good fuel in the tank, replace fuel filter. maybe new spark plugs and spark plug wires. and then try to turn it on. tell me if it turned on, if no we can discuss it more.

Well, first you need to put gas into the tank - if the engine ran completely dry, you may need to put in up to three gallons for the electronic systems, pumps, etc to work correctly.

Replace the fuel filter as it is more than likely clogged.

Car will not start after sitting for months in driveway. Just put new battery in car and it cranks good but still will not turn over. how do you get car to start?

Could use some more info such as year and model of car and how many months it has been sitting. There would also be a different approach if the car is carburated or fuel injected, points or electronic ignition.
