use wd40 and with a fine window scrapper scrap off. If you scratch the tile use a hair dryer over it this heats the tile and it remolds its self.

The optimal thing is wipe up any spills or drips immediately and clean the area with dish soap and water before the paint has a chance to dry. On dry paint your results may differ based on the length of time the paint has been on your floor, and of course, the amount. The type of finish on your hardwood floor also factors in. You should get the best results with a product called "Goof-Off". Follow the directions on the container. Finish with a good quality wood floor cleaner. We use "MinWax Wood Floor Cleaner" available at most hardware stores.

Three is a product called Super Clean. It is actually an automobile degreaser. I use it on grease stains on clothes...presoak then put in wash machine. I use it on tough soap build up in showers...soak stall walls, use a scrunge to scrub, then rinse (fumes are very strong, so ventilate area). I also use it to remove paint...presoak area, use scrunge and sponge, then rinse and wipe again. I use it full strength for all of these uses. Good luck, and please let me know how it did for you. Oh, you can buy Super Clean at auto part stores and Walmart.

How do you remove eggshell paint from a wooden floor?

I'm taking a guess that it is Latex Paint. The best and fastest way would be to use a Paint Scraper. Stripper would work but it would take the Final Finish off of your floor. If it is a large area, you could use a Heat Gun...carefully as that also would take the Clear protecting coat off of the floor. I would go with the paint scraper. Not a Putty Knife, a Paint Scraper.

Should I use oil or latex paint to repaint my adirondack chairs?

If you are going to paint you should first find out what kind of paint was origanlly used on the chairs. Latex paint over oil based paint has been known to peel and come off. I think latex is the better choice because it does not yellow or fade over time. This website outlines the pros and cons of latex and oil paints: http://www.hgtv.com/decorating/painting-101-oil-or-latex/index.html You should use exterior latex paint on your adirondack chairs. Exterior latex will allow outside moisture to evaporate, which will prevent blistering/peeling of the paint.
