How to fix a Venture van electric window stuck in open position?

Hi,
Most of the time a problem like this is either the switch or the wiring between the switch and the window motor.
You will need to do a little troubleshooting, but it is a relatively simple circuit that controls the windows.
I have a link below that will explain how the windows work and also has a drawing of the circuit.

If the Chevy Venture's driver's side window won't roll down, it may have slipped off of its track and become stuck. The crank gears may also have gotten fouled. Removing the door panel will usually let you see what is going on with the window and to correct the problem.

The temperature switch for the Secendary electric fan is on the radiator. The coolant needs to reach around 190 deg as it is exiting the radiator before the secondary fan will turn on. If the thermostat is stuck in the closed position the engine will overheat, No coolant flowing through the radiator, If it is stuck in the open position then the engine will take a long time to warm up. a stuck thermostat should have no effect on the electric fan working or not. The most common cause of the fan not working is the temperature switch not working.
