Dude, it only costs 19.99 to change the oil on a 2000 Montana. Why go through the hassel. Jiffy lube charges $24 with a free carwash.
Hello. If you like to do it yourself like me , i just bought a 2000 Montana and did the oil change my self. It was pretty standard. put car on ramps (please secure) crawl under, have catch pan ready.loosen oil drain bolt on bottom of oil pan. drain in catch pan. when empty replace drain bolt . remove filter and replace with new, again have catch pan handy. once done then comes the technical part. to reset the computer for oil change light (if equiped)you must turn the ignition to the on position without starting the vehicle. once in the on position you must press the gas pedal 3 times within 5 seconds to reset. then shut the vehice off. then start the vehice and see if light is out if not repeat this step faster. this is what the manual suggests you.
you are better off taking it ro the dealship and have them do it for you
if i have anything done to my van i take it to the dealership and let them do the work. i will not take my van to a jiffy luba any more .the last time i did they messed everything up on it
