Unfortunately, WMM (Windows Movie Maker) is a very basic video editing software program with limited features. Even though you can reduce audio volume, mute or fade it in/out, that's about all you can do with the audio.
You would need to use an actual audio editing program to edit voices or sounds from videos as WMM is not capable of doing that. Sorry... :(

all i know that u can use AVS Video Editor 4
Import the sound effects to Windows Movie Maker. When you see them appear in the Imported Media pane, drag them down into the Audio/Music track. Click play in the Preview pane to hear the results. Adjust them on the time-line as desired.
You can't do that on Windows Live Movie Maker (or any other version). Windows Live is an Essentials product which is a stripped-down version of the original program for XP and Vista. The program is limited feature-wise. Your only recourse is to use an external audio editor prior to importing it into Windows Movie Maker.
Right click it and click mute or CTRL + U on the clip change the volume
No, you can't edit your voice using Windows Movie Maker. You will need to edit the audio with an external audio editor before importing it in the program.
Windows Live Movie Maker does not include a Narration feature. So, if you want to add your voice to video on Windows Live Movie Maker, it will have to be produced with an external audio recorder, then imported into the program.
I don't know of any way to "echo" your voice on Windows Movie Maker. At least, there isn't a feature in the program that can do that anyway. The only thing I can suggest is to add an echo to your voice using an external voice/audio editor. Then import the audio into Windows Movie Maker.
You can only add you voice to a project if you have the narrate feature with your Windows Movie Maker. If you are using Windows Live Movie Maker, then the feature is NOT available. If you don't have the Narrate feature available, then use your Windows sound recorder and you microphone to narrate. Create narration files (sound files) that can be imported into Windows Movie Maker. Then simply place the audio in the desired spot on the audio/music track in your project.
There are no video/audio enhancement features like that on Windows Live Movie Maker, which is a very basic video editing software application. You best bet is to edit the audio to achieve the desired effect in an external audio editing application. Then import it into Windows Live Movie Maker.
You'll have to edit the recording outside of WLMM (Windows Live Movie Maker) because there isn't a feature for audio editing in the program.
go to windows movie maker, press narration and talk.then to my computer where the start button is,then press your music file drag the narration in windows movie maker and there.you have your sound.hope it works.
you record your voice and editing on windows movie maker
There is no Narrate feature on Windows Live Movie Maker (which I presume you are using in Windows 7). You will have to use your Windows Sound Recorder to narrate or record voice on. Then import the file into Windows Live Movie Maker. In the 2.6 version of the program (the Vista version), there is a Narrate feature available. But, even that feature is rather persnickety. I always use sound recorder for voice. You can find your own Windows Sound Recorder under:> Start > All Programs > Accessories > Sound RecorderI had the same problem. Make sure you go into options and under webcam select the correct audio recording device.
I've done this before You don't do it on video but if you can download it onto your computer 💻 then put it on to the windows movie maker If that doesn't work the get a person on the 🎥 movie then do a backing track/voice record for it
The TTS Reader voice audio must be converted to one of the following Audio formats before it can be imported and edited in Windows Movie Maker:.aif, .aifc, .aiff, .asf, .au, .mp2, .mp3, .mpa, .snd, .wav, .wma
you can just search a tutorial to know how but if its windows live then you need to use audiacity and import it
no it dosnt record voice sorry but if you have windows movie maker just add commentary over the vid and that should fix it
