How tall do you have to be to sit in the front seat in Ontario?
I believe it's 49 inches.But you should double check first.

By law, the PSP states that a child may ride in the front seat after 8 years old / 4'9"/ 80 lbs.; however, the state police strongly recommend that all children under 12 years… of age ride in the back seat rather than the front.1

Well, I sit in the front seat and I am 12 but I think I started when I was eleven. I am still not allowed to sit in the front seat when we drive for a long time or go on dange…rous roads. I am 5 foot 3 but I would say that 4 foot 10 is a good height. I hope that helps!
It is legal for any child of any age to ride in the front seat ofany vehicle in Canada. There are no specific laws making thisillegal. Transport Canada recommends turning off …their airbag whenpossible and notes that the back seat would be safer. There is no height restriction in Hawaii but you need to be at least 12 to sit in the front

It varies by state. In California it is 7 years old or 4' 9" tall without a car-seat.
