You can contact them through their message board if a user asked the question. If they do not respond or it was not a registered member, then report it to a Supervisor who can trash the question. It is also a good idea to report the alternate that does not have much information to a Supervisor to avoid a pile-up of unnecessary alternates.

What happens when someone has asked an identical question before on WikiAnswers?

If someone has already asked the same question before on WikiAnswers, then you shouldn't ask the question. You should look at the answer already provided there. If there isn't an answer, then you just have to wait until someone answers it. Asking an already asked question should bring up a message, informing you that the question has already been asked and answered.

How does WikiAnswers work?

Essentially, here's how WikiAnswers works: # Someone asks a question. # Someone answers the question. # Over time, other contributors improve the wording of the question, make it easier to find, develop the answer, etc. # When someone else asks the same question, the answer is there. It should be noted that WikiAnswers is not a search engine like Google, nor a multiple-answer site like Ask.com, so questions must be questions (not statements or keywords).

What type of answer is it when you say you don't know?

Saying "I don't know" is not an acceptable answer on WikiAnswers. If someone does not know the answer, they should not answer the question at all.

Why are the answers on WikiAnswers so random?

The answers on this site often seem random because anyone can answer questions and edit answers. This has a downside as some people are do not have the correct information, or will even intentionally provide false information or nonsense.

Are the words don't know an answer?

If you mean on WikiAnswers, no, they are not an answer on WikiAnswers. If a person has absolutely no information to put in an answer, they should go to another question that they can answer or at least partially answer. Answering a question even with "I don't know" makes that question appear to be answered on WikiAnswers, which means it is less likely to BE answered, because people will think it already has been.

What should you match career information to when you evaluate possible careers?

That is very interesting and may or may not be true but it is NOT a question. WikiAnswers if for questions.

Why is WikiAnswers mean when you just asked a question?

If the answer was rude, the answer was written by a vandal (a person whose intent is to purposefully ruin WikiAnswers), and should be removed immediately. However, if your question was gotten rid of, it was because your question was inappropriate, added no value whatsoever to WikiAnswers, didn't have enough information to answer, or included a first and/or last name of a non-celebrity.

What is a good question to ask on here?

What questions should be removed from WikiAnswers?

Many questions should be removed from WikiAnswers, but when it is removed from the data bases completely, people can just ask it again. There is a category called the 'Catch-All' category, and every question in it is the storage question to all answers that shouldn't belong on WikiAnswers. This category of questions has storage questions from having not enough information, to relating to cyberbullying.
