Upping your dosage on any medication is your doctor's call, not yours. When you are initially diagnosed there will be a period when dosage will need to be adjusted. Most typical time frame is 30 - 60 days.
They come in a capsule dosage form.
Personally, it changed my life and for the better. I started on 20mg for 3 dys and stepped up to 40. Max i have taken is 80 but stepped back to 60. Dont change your dosage without your doctors input especially if you have problems with high blood pressure. With the correct dosage, Strattera can make life normal...and it feels amazing!
I started taking strattera and I use to be a meth addict and I had a slip up, will Strattera show up as meth on a home urine test? PLease let me know ASAP!
Strattera comes in the following oral capsule dosages: 10, 18, 25, 40, 60, 80, and 100 mg. The dosage depends on your individual circumstances.
my answer is ( A ) dosage and administration
Yes, 40mg of Strattera is a lot to start out with because you're body may not be able to handle that big of a dosage. I'm no doctor, but I've been on Strattera now for a week and my dosage is 18mg, and it makes me feel ugh! If 18mg is a lot, then of course 40mg is a lot to start out with. I hope this somewhat makes sense and helps. Its one of the stronger amounts but I don't think its A LOT. Im starting at 40 and tomorrow I start taking 80 so clearly it cant be too bad if im doubling it
Mixing Lexapro and Strattera can cause a few side effects. The Lexapro can cause the Strattera to build up in the blood more. This causes dry mouth, sleep problems, dizziness, loss of appetite and heart palpitations.
What type of rash does strattera cause
I think it depends on the starting dose. I started at 40 mg. for 3 days, then went to 60 for 3 days and then to 80. This is what I am currently taking and have been for about a month.

No. Strattera can be dangerous if it gets in your eyes.
: It is not normal for Strattera to cause depression. This is not a "normal" side effect, is what I'm trying to say, and you should contact your doctor immediately. Especially if you have sudden changes in behavior, are a minor, or have thoughts of suicide. hope this helps ***** This is just another opinion, though it's not listed as a "normal" side effect, when first starting strattera I experienced crying spells as well. I wasn't necessarily depressed, just stressed. After about a week everything started to calm down. This has happened twice, once when initially being prescribed the medication, and again three months later when my dosage went up.
