There should be no reason to bathe a ferret as they usually clean themselves.
If you do bathe your ferret more that once a month??? It strips the oils from their skin and they will produce more oils to compensate and start smelling more that usual.
It's actually best not to do at all, as bathing promotes the production of oil in the skin which is what gives ferrets their distinctive odour - so, washing them actually makes them stinkier. Also, you've probably noticed that your ferret spends a large part of his or her time when not asleep grooming in much the same way cats do, keeping themselves clean so there's no real need to bathe them.
Having said that, some ferrets seem to quite enjoy swimming and if that's the case with yours there's no harm in filling the bath with lukewarm water from time to time and letting them go for it. Mine both hate it, and I would bleed if I tried to put them in there.
Ferrets should be washed twice a year at most since washing them anymore often strips their fur of it's natural oils and causes them to produce more which in turn causes them to smell worse. It also dries out their skin and makes them itchy.
i have a male polecat i bath him twice a week. At first he really didn't like it but now he loves it, especially his towel dry. He acts just like a dog and rolls about in it. He is a recued pet from the cat and dog home and is about a a year old so bathing him for the first time was scary but just keep trying reward him when your ferret has been good thay learn very quickly my polecat now follows me everywhere and loves his cuddles

Twice a week???! Good lord.
Ferrets are generally clean animals and don't need to be bathed more than once or twice a year. They are like cats and will groom themselves. Bathing too often dries out the skin and makes for an itchy ferret. It also causes the skin oil glands to overproduce oil, making the ferret smelly.
You should bathe you ferret as little as possible. Only when they become really dirty. At most wash them once every 3-4 months. Washing them more than this will cause their skin to produce more oil which contains their scent, resulting in your ferret having a much stronger odor.
If your ferret is stinky try the following
once a week, but if have been playing in the dirt or something like that its good to wash them down with water, so it doesn't irritate there skin.
Ferrets are fairly clean animals and will usually groom themselves. It is unnecessary to bath a ferret more than once or twice a year. Bathing more often leads to dry, itchy skin and the skin oils glands overcompensate to make up for the lost oils, making the ferret smelly.
Ferrets should have a constant supply of food.
dog?
Most of the time guinea pigs don't have an odour as long as you clean their cage often. If they are still stinky, you can always give them a bath. If you want to give then a bath you should either use bunny, kitten or ferret shampoo, dog shampoo is too strong and natural shampoo is the best for them.

Every day is common hygiene.
every day or night
The only reason your white ferret is yellow is because the stink glands have been dirtying your ferret. If they haven't been removed, then it is very common. Your ferret just needs a bath.
