make sure its deep enough though
You can... but you shouldn't need to often.
you should never empty all the water from your tank, only up to 30% a week. changing all the water gets rid of the much needed bacteria need for breaking down waste. Google aquarium cycling or the nitro cycle for more information. tom :)
You should never do a complete cleaning with your fish tank as it will get rid of benifital bacteria, cause your water to be cloudy, and stress out your fish. You should replace at least 10-20% of your water (or more depending on how large your aqaurium is and what kind of fish you have) every 1-2 weeks. A gravel vacuum(siphon), two five gallon buckets, and water conditioner are what you will need to do a water change.
I recommend doing a 50% water change once a week. That way the algae/bacteria doesnt get over the limit causing diseases to your fish but still helps the fish survive. Fish need Algea and bacteria to survive. So I wouldn't do a full tank clean to often. But make sure your tank isn't close to direct sunlight. Direct sunlight may cause to much algae to grow.
i would never do a 50% change unless disaster was striking my tank...... u should never do more than a 25% weekly change if even that much..... i do a 10% change a week and never lose any fish........
There is no given answer to this question. What I normally do is clean it once every two or three weeks. I do it that often because normally after a couple of weeks, the bowl is so filthy that it is practically begging you to clean it. there would be scum and feces in the bowl. Just observe how often it gets that dirty. Remember: every fish is different. Plus, the bigger the bowl, the less often it needs to be cleaned.
You should clean your fish bowl or tank whenever you can see algae starting to grow on the sides, or if there is fish poop and stuff built up on the bottom. If you have one of those little water-vaccuums, you can easily filter out all of the stuff without bothering the fish. You should not do a total cleaning, where you empty the water out, move the fish, and put in fresh water, unless you absolutely must because of disease or an algae bloom. Having an algae-eater and/or bottom-feeding fish in the bowl or tank also helps to keep the "junk" to a minimum.
I would clean a fish tank about every 3 days. The number of days can change depending on the number or type of fish.
You should do a 20% water change every 2 weeks.
you clean the fish bowl like every twice per week
1 time per week
yes, in order to keep your fish alive, it's best to clean the fish bowl as often as you can.
Golf fish, and most types of gold fish, not just the basic ones. small tiny fish, only fresh water! also bear in mind the tank has to be a decent size in comparision the fish and the amount of fish.

A fish bowl for homeowners fish collection comes in various sizes and shapes depending on the type of fish and the recommendation of the pet store. A pet store is a good place to purchase a fish bowl, and also Walmart and Target sells fish bowls.
An aquarium , fish bowl ,
I clean my male betta's 1gal bowl at least once a week
4 days each like every 4 days you clean the bowl does not matter if its cold water fish or warm
Take the fish(s) out and put them ether in a bucket or big bowl then you are free to clean the fishtank. Make sure the bucket/bowl has a fair amount of water in it.
Once a week
When you are changing the water in a fish bowl, you have to empty cup ot bowl with water in it. Then, put it into clean water.
First get a bucket of water, and put the same volume as is in the bowl in the bucket. Let the bucket sit over night, and put water conditioner in it. Net the fish out of the bowl, and put it in the bucket with the new water. Rinse the bowl out, and sponge the inside to remove any algae. Clean, and put back the gravel and ornaments. Pour the water and fish back into the clean bowl. DONT USE SOAP.
feed it and clean the bowl
A fish will most likely die if you put a cleaning agent in its fish bowl without removing the fish. You should remove your fish with a net and place it in another safe container until fish bowl is clean.
once i week
This is for betta fish but you can use it for other fish too but why would you keep a fish in a bowl tha's not a betta? Betta are the only fish that can stay in a bowl: When you first get the fish clean out the bowl (make sure there's no dust or anything). How to clean the bowl the first time: At the first time you need completely new water for the fish. Wipe the bowl and make sure it doesn't have dust, residue, or anything dirty make it super clean and shiny. You'll need to put warmish water into the bowl and add water cleaner so it doesn't harm the fish. You can buy water cleaner from your local pet store (the one you got the fish from). And your bowl is ready to go. Second time cleaning the bowl: Make sure you have a container to put your fish in when you clean the water. It has to be big enough so your fish can swim in it. Now you take just a little bit of the old water and keep it for the bowl after. Okay, now you take the fish out with a net and put it in a container with water in it. Now you take out the extra water in the bowl that has poop in it and stuff and put it down the sink or something. Then you clean the bowl if you have to and add water wih water cleaner into the bowl. Also leave some room for the old water from the bowl before it was cleaned so the betta doesn't get shocked or anything from the water change. Then, add water cleaner to the bowl again. Now take your fish out of the container with the net and put your fish back to where he was. That's about it. And also after a few weeks change ALL of the water and keep it warmish. If you change the water temperature to cold right away he'll go into shock for the change of temperature! hope I helped :)
Well usually every 3-4 days is best
no, only if your fish is appearing ill.
