Neutropenia is a hematological disorder in which the body has a very low count of neutrophils which are the most important type of white blood cells that make up 50%-70% of the body's cirulating white blood cells which fight of infections. Anorexia nervosa weakens the body's immune system because it is not getting all of the things the body needs to run therefore compromising the creation of the neutrophils. If the neutrophils are not being produced to fight off infection, then the person becomes sick or weak very easily.
The prognosis for mild or chronic neutropenia is excellent. Recovery from acute neutropenia depends on the severity of the patient's infection and the promptness of treatment.
Anorexia
Cyclic neutropenia is a condition of recurring shortages of white blood cells.
Neutropenia is a low level of white blood cells (WBC), which are called neutrophils
Not normally.
I do not think it can be associated with anorexia nervosa, but I think it can be related with bulimia nervosa
It is an illness that causes sickness, weakness, pain etc. Never try it because it is extremely dangerous!
Neutropenia has no specific symptoms except the severity of the patient's current infection. In severe neutropenia, the patient is likely to develop periodontal disease, oral and rectal ulcers, fever, and bacterial pneumonia. Fever.
Osteoporosis is irreversible in people with anorexia. Other health conditions resulting from anorexia are generally reversible.
Anorexia will starve the body, causing weight loss, hair loss, muslce degeneration, stress on the internal organs, dry skin, brittle nails, weakness, fatigue, and many other problems.
There are plenty of related disorders, but the most common are bulimia and ED-NOS
