Hi! The droid is going to cost about 500 to 600 dollars!!! The monthly plan is 100 dollars. Which is a lot of money for a phone. Haha don't listen to the guy above us. Its going to be 199.99 for just the phone. How do you fix a Motorola Droid 3 that won't boot up on the Android system for free because I am tired of sending it in to get it fixed because all I get is one dud after another?
It is difficult to fix because the Motorola Droid 3 has a locked bootloader. So, even if it were running properly, rooting and flashing the phone, though not impossible, is a bit tricky. If the phone doesn't even boot in its present state, there's not much more you can do. If possible, I would recommend upgrading. I've seen a number of issues on that phone from the Verizon community boards and others.

Well the latest I-phone is lighter and prettier in my personal opinion. As for the OS, there isn't really much of a difference. They both have the app store and due to popularity, the I-phone gets all of the apps first. So I would recommend the I-phone to you above the Droid. Both are great choices really though, you wouldn't be losing with either one.
