But, it is best to speak with a doctor before starting one and it is a terrible way to lose weight. You will lost 1-2 pounds a week. So, your net total will be a loss of 2-4 pounds after two weeks. And, some people end up putting on a lot more weight after they start eating again. A better way is to cut down to 1200-1500 calories and get more exercise and lift some weights.

Not eating is very dangerous, and starving or fasting for that long (not as a reuslt of a religious obligation or medical condition) is a sign of the eating disorder anorexia. Though a few pounds can be lost that way, they will quickly be regain onced normal eating resumes. The better and proper way to lose weight would be through diet and exercise.

You will lose weight as that would be considered a fast. All the weight would come right back on, though, once you began eating again. Not eating for an entire week is extremely dangerous, too. It can be very bad for your health, and lead you to give in to cravings, binge, and actually end up gaining more weight in the end.

Yes you can, however, once you eat the following week you will put the weight you lost straight back on, maybe even more.

If you are planning on starving yourself you need to drink a lot of water and take vitamins. They help to keep your levels straight and helps you avoid deficiency's.

I take vitamins, eat less than 500 cals a day and exercise, however because of the vitamins my body levels are ok.
