I dont know what the actual reccomended amount is, however i can tell you that whenever i feel under the whether, or i know im under pressure and dont seem to be getting enough sleep - i take 2000 mg a day and it works like a charm!

well it depends 30mg a day to prevent scurvy.

a healthy daily dose is 90mg for men and 75 mg for women.

but if you are sick you need 500mg to get rid of a cold.

i would say 200mg a day is about the right amount because any excess vitamin c just gets flushed out by you body.
