It depends on the style of beer, but usually very little.

A German wheat beer (hefeweizen) typically contains 40-50% wheat as compared to barley. American wheats usually have less.

Other styles of ales can have very small amounts, say 5%, to increase head retention and mouthfeel.

Non ales, aka lagers, usually have no wheat and are 100% barley.
