It really depends on the state, if you live say in California you would'nt get as harsh a punishment. But I would say either a hefty fine, or at least 1-2 years. And the 1-2 years is usually if you have any priors on your record.
What if it was a first offense, and in California??
I am in CA and they are going after people. You may a bit less with a first offense. Make sure you don't get started on the 3 strike thing. I know they have been arresting the fellows who have the medical pot shops, so they are cracking down. Maybe you can make a deal since the state is so broke and letting people out for nonviolent arrests Why did you take the chance? I hope you don't want to be a teacher or police officer because that will show on the background check.
You can get in prison for 400000000 YEARS! lol no idk i just feel like answering this questin.... CHICKEN! BLUE! my friend just burped so i had to say a color. c yall!
About 2 to 3 years. Don't do drugs then you won't have to worry about anything.
Marijuana isn't a drug. What?
You're looking at a Federal Felony charge. Two pounds is W-A-Y over the limit for personal use - you are talkiing a PWID (Possession With Intent to Distribute) amount.
I think 25 years but it all depends if your judge is in a good mood or pissed off
about 23 years
2 years
Life time.
Two pounds is clearly a "commercial" amount and you will probably be charged with PWID (possession With Intent to Distribute) - the Feds may even enter the picture. Unless it is plea bargained down, you're probably looking at a felony stretch.
Most likely 20 years or more unfortunately. Possession of marijuana is often punished worse than murder.

2,950 grams is 6.5 pounds.
4.8 pounds = 2,177.24 grams.
Simple possession is a misdemeanor with a maximum sentence of 30 days in jail with up to a $500 fine for the first offense. A second offense and the maximum jail time jumps to 1 year. Distribution penalties vary according to the amount seized. Less than 1/2 ounce and the max jail time is 1 year. 1/2 ounce up to 5 pounds carries a max sentence of 10 years. More than 5 pounds carries a max sentence of 30 years.
how many pounds make up a keyload
Dude, you're screwed. I live in Idaho, and if I got caught with that much, it's felony. 25 to life. I suggest you don't get caught.
Grams, ounces, pounds and kilo's.
yeppo!!
No, you would need to smoke roughly 1,500 pounds of in one dose. And even then your not dieing from the marijuana but from excessive smoke inhalation.
It depends on where you are. Most jurisdictions consider that amount enough for dealing and will thus arrest you for sale as well as possession. Penalties range from months to several years and fines in the hundreds or often thousands of dollars.
