The Duggars are a huge family, TLC pays them much more then the Gosselins.
The Duggars get $95,000 dollars per episode and $100,000 dollars per special.
They own several commercial properties which leads up to $50,000 a year.
The Duggars accept donations from rich people $50,000 dollars a year and they are getting filmed by several international videographers which is $75,000 a year. They get TV interviews and have some businesses which leads up to $100,000 dollars a year.
They use lots of coupons and freebies and discounts. They do not have college money for the kids. And they are debt free.
According to an October 1, 2009 interview on Larry King Live, the Gosselin family earn $22,500 per episode for the fifth season of their reality show 'Jon & Kate Plus 8."
During that time Jon Gosselin did not have any outside income. and he was not paid separately for anything.
If Jon Gosselin has additional information, it has not been made public.
Depending on the year, anywere from $7,500 to max $22,500(last season only at this high amount, else check below) per EPISODE, the $22,500 amount is what they are receiving for 2009 episodes only. (this is
per TLC themselves).. At NO Point have the Gosselins get paid any more than
the $22, 500 and that's amount was due to the popularity, plus it being the last season & TLC wanting to get as many episodes as possible, without too much interruption from Jon Gosselin's attempts to halt production.
FYI: Jon Gosselin started the rumor that he was getting $75, 000 per episode but it was him that he had made a fool of for doing such per TLC. (there is an article on this rumor of Jon's if ya want to look this up)
TLC initially wanted 40 episodes for season 5, the last season. Yet were only
able to get a total of 23 episodes = $517,500 for this last season.
-In the beginning the Gosselins maybe made about $6,500 per episode of Seasons 1 n 2, that only had a total of 16 episodes, plus 2- 1hr iniitial episodes that Discovery Health only planned on showing; until they saw how popular it was. Thus they came up with the "Jon & Kate Plus 8" series, which the the Gosselins jumped on, tho they did make a big err. They never has anyone review the contracts w/Discovery, who owns TLC, before signing the long term contracts. Thus they made approx $155,000 b4 taxes for the 1st two seasons of their reality show. Yet the next two seasons (seasonw 3 & 4, now on TLC vs the Discovery Health Channel) they earned ~$12,500 per episode, though they did do a total of 74 episodes for Seasons 3 & 4 = $880, 000.
BTW: The Gosselins have never gotten paid seperately for doing their reality show "Jon & Kate Plus 8", nor a specific amount especially for the children. There were given one payment for the entire family.
As again the Gosselins ERRED BIG TIME by not getting any legal advice or management advice before they signed the contracts with Discovery/TLC to do the show. Yet they still made decent money for just being themselves on TV n had many things paid for them. Like TLC paid for the nannies, the chef n a housekeeper. And the Gosselins' children did get free clothes from like the Gap/Baby Gap, the Disney Store, the list of their sponsors was almost endless: **I Do Laugh at All the Posts who think these two idiots have made millions w/signing a legal document w/a major corporation WITHOUT having a lawyer of their own review it b4 they signed. LMAO :P
There are DVDs of all seasons, yet I'm not sure if they are getting any income from them as again they signed a long term contract without having it reviewed by anyone in the entertainment business, b4 signing. So I'm sure any residual income is minimal.

According to TV Guide, Kate Gosselin receives $250K per episode.
Ms Gosselin has tweeted that the number is an exaggeration.
What do you think? The number is somewhere in the middle.
Somewhere between $5,000 and $50,000 an episode. On the low end, each of the Real Housewives of New York made only $1,000 an episode. On the high end the Gosselins made between $50,000 and $75,000 an episode. My hunch, and this is pure speculation, is that the Duggars now make about $20,000 an episode and get many freebies.
Ms. Gosselin's compensation for her reality TV show 'Kate Plus 8' has not be made public.
However, some have speculated that she was paid as much as $250,000 per episode, an amount Gosselin says is inaccurate.
The actual number is between Gosselin, the Accountants and the network.
They paid 1.2million for the house and put it in a trust name. 1.2million ~They paided 1,350,000 1.35
According to various reports in the tabloids and newswires, Kate Gosselin is paid 250'000 dollars per episode of 'Kate Plus 8'.
No. You are confusing the Duggars with a different family that was featured on TLC.
Yes the duggars get paid for the show from tlc.
Nope, all the Duggars kids are on the show. A lot of people confuse the Jeub family, which were featured on a couple of TLC specials, with the Duggars. Their super-sized family, and their own struggles with their oldest daugther were featured on a couple of episodes.
The Duggars owned, and still own, commercial properties that they rent out.
That is kind of a personal question, unless you are talking about how much they make on TV. For that, the details are unknown of how much, if any, they get paid.
yes they are.
