That gives the volume of the tree trunk minus the branches which can add a lot. When an ash tree is fully grown and leafed out the leaves alone can weigh as much as a ton (depending on hydration level). The branches account for about 800 - 1,000 pounds. So a 30 foot tall ash at about 50 pounds per cubic foot of volume in the trunk with a circumference of 6 feet will weigh 6ft x 30 / 4 = 2250 pounds plus the branches. That is minimal depending on the hydration level of the tree.
