How much does a U S Air Force Lt Col earn in retirement?

Answer . I think a doctor just going into the airforce would be given the rank of captain and receive the same pay as any other captain. The military pays by rank, not by j…ob.
Follow this link: http://www.dfas.mil/militarypay/militarypaytables/2008MilitaryPayCharts35.pdf Accountants come in as officers, and they enter the pay scale as an O1. In 2… years they become an O2, and typically in 4 years become an O3 (Captain)
$3000 to $5000 a month depending on how many years the Major has been in. This answer is a little bit / actually a lot off. I am a 2LT, or Second Lieutenant in the USAF, but… I am an O1E, which means I am prior enlisted. My salary is only part of my pay, I also get housing allowance and money for food each month (both are tax free). I am at Eglin, this matters for the amount of housing allowance you will receive, and my bring home pay is 2520 every 2 weeks. This is more than the previous estimate for the O4 and I am only an O1 with 10 years in service. If I were an O4 (today) with approximately 18 years in service, I would be making around 110K per year. This comes out to about 9200 per month.
It doesnt matter how much you earn because it all depends on your job in the Royal air force and which rank you are. As an NCO (non commitioned officer} you would probably ear…n the most at warrant officer rank and at Officer ranks it is probably one of the Air Marshals. But like i said it depends on the job you do in the air force but also the lenght of service you do.
Dear Comlonels,. It is already April 2009 , the arrears were to be partly paid out in FY 2008-09 , but no news till date .All officers who retired after 01 Jan 2006 had to se…nd their Latest Bank account details and present address to to Archieves cell CDA , Pune by 31 Jan 2009 .I guess The Archieves cell needs to firstly calculate the Pay in new scales ,work out the arrears for period served after 01 Jan 2006 , pay the same to officers .Besides this LPC(last Pay Certificate ) with the new Pay details has to be also made by Archieves cell and sent to CDA Pension Allahabad - who need to calculate the arrers of pension from retirement date and pay the same to bankers (officer) besides sending a revised PPO to the bank for payment of pension on refixed pay .. Frankly speaking I am not sure as to by when these arrers will get setteled for us remember our serving brothers have already got the arrears and new pay scales form Dec 2008 .. We all need to send a PIL to CDA on this issue !. Cheers. XYZ
Follow thru with the terminology of "Lt. Col." do not switch out toColonel. Gross mistake in accurate information. If it isuncomfortable (?), for any reason stick with "0-5". …Reference topay return to prior individuals' information. Thanks...
It depends on their pay grade (rank), but they also get extra pay depending on what they're doing including flight pay if they are doind a drop over a fire, danger pay, specia…l duty, etc.-- there's all sorts. Most Air Force Firefighters just getting in nowadays get in as an E-3 (boosted 3 ranks) because they expect them to be in longer on their first contract, because it costs SO MUCH to train them. When these guys leave the service, they can get hired at normal departments or even specialty departments including Airport FF or HAZMAT. HAZMAT IS WHERE THE MONEY IS AT-- and Air Force firefighters get all of this world class training and education for free... in fact, yes, and they're paid to do it. THEY EARN IT THOUGH.
around 5k a month.
They get paid £23475
In US Air Force
AFPC says late May - early Jun for Line
I want to try to make extra money and I am on social securitydisability and I am 63 . How much am I allowed to earn and not losemy benefits?
I spent 20 years in the RAF as a pilot, left in 1990 as squadron leader, and get about £12,000/year (still working!).
That would depend on his rank when he left the RAF.
