It says that it does but it dosn"t.... if you belive in global warming

Bio fuels increase the overall carbon emissions. Equipment is used to create the material that is then converted into fuel. This adds carbon dioxide as well as wasting more water. The overall effect is an increase in emissions.

Bio fuels could help with the production of CO2 only minimally. The fuel itself is rarely as good as conventional fuels so therefore burns differently. The cost of many bio fuels is actually more fuel then the fuel produced. Some estimates are that it takes over a gallon of diesel and 2000 gallons of water to make a gallon of diesel.

Nature makes over 93% of all CO2. The portion of CO2 made by man certainly has a component of CO2 that would have been caused naturally. Burning wood, for example, produces the same as wood that rots.

Burning 1 kilogram of a fossil fuel releases about 3.2 kilograms of CO2. The extra weight is caused by the oxygen atoms that are taken from the atmosphere during the burning process.

Fossil (hydrocarbon fuel) contains carbon, with each carbon atom attached to two hydrogen atoms (approximately). After the fuel is burnt each carbon atom is attached to two oxygen atoms instead.

The hydrogen atoms in the fuel also burn, combining with more oxygen from the atmosphere to produce more heat and a waste product which is water (steam).

The burning of fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas) contributes about 29 gigatons of carbon dioxide to the atmosphere every year.

The burning of fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas) in industry, transport and the generation of electricity, releases carbon dioxide (CO2) in the amount of 29 gigatons per year. (A gigaton equals 1,000,000,000 tons.)

What substance released into the air by the burning of fossil fuel contributes most to global warming?

Carbon dioxide

What is the relationship between burning of fossil fuels and carbon dioxide?

Burning fossil fuels (combustion) releases carbon dioxide. As carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas, presently contributing to global warming, this is why the world is moving away from fossil fuels to renewable energy.

What is released from burning of fossil fuel?

Carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas that is causing global warming and climate change.
