well they breathe tons of times during the day the average would br about 1,000,000 times a day!

The average person at rest will breathe about 15 +/- times per minute meaning 4 seconds per inhale/exhale cycle. The amount of air involved is about 500mL and is essentially composed of nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide, and water (vapor). So if you use 21,000 breaths a day, times 500 mL, I would say about 10,500 L per day as an estimate. Activity will affect this estimate.

The total air volume of lungs is from about 4.0 liters to 6.0 liters depending on the size, age and gender of a person. The volume of air moved during a normal breath is only 0.5 liters.
