Most I A programs only give you a sample of different trades. A lot of schools offer Vocational programs where you receive training in a specific field ie: welding, carpentry, machine shop etc. Some are at the secondary level (high school) some are at the post secondary level (Voc Tech schools) junior colleges for example. Private schools also offer Voc training. I A lets you sample the different trades to see which one you like best and can be ideal for your needs.
