∙ 14y agoThe term "writing pieces" is so broad that it might be impossible to answer or it would take huge amount of time to determine unless someone took that time and published the findings. Poe wrote short stories, poems, a novel length story even a textbook. However, the real problem to determining Poe's "writing pieces" lies in the fact that he wrote articles, essays and critiques for several magazines. Those certainly qualify as "writing pieces"; however the lack of preservation of copies of printed material back then makes it improbable if not impossible to determine the number of all of his writings.
