Charlie Brown did kick the football. He kicked the football in the episode, "It's Magic Charlie Brown".

Snoopy was performing many magic tricks in front of Charlie Brown's friends. Then he asked volunteers; some were hurt and some of their possessions were destroyed like Linus's blanket. When Charlie Brown volunteered (Lucy made him go up there on stage), Snoopy was performing an INVISIBILITY trick. Since all of his tricks weren't working, this trick actually worked. Snoopy covered Charlie Brown with a yellow blanket, then did his thing and wala! Charlie Brown disappeared; Snoopy didn't expect it all, he was hoping/knowing that Charlie would still be there. Everyone was amazed. Then it started raining, and everyone left. The invisible Charlie Brown wandered back to Snoopy's house and made him try to get him back to visible again. Snoopy tried, but didn't work. So he walked to the park and saw Lucy placing the football on the ground like most football players would do to have the kick-off. Since Charlie Brown had the advantage of being invisible, he decided scare Lucy by FINALLY kicking the ball. It's pretty funny and amazing if you look at it a different way. So Charlie did kick the football TWICE! He tried to do it again, but Snoopy found out how to make things visible and invisible. As Charlie was running, Snoopy came across by waving his fingers to find Charlie and made him visible again when Charlie passed Snoopy....but Lucy, as usual saw him coming and made him miss the ball. HAHA!! You should watch the video though, 'cause it's hilarious!!

Hope this helped!!
