Actually the prophets all came in the Old Testament time, before Christ so none christians.

In actual fact the Old Testament prophets were Christians. It was only in Antioch (Acts.11.26) that the name first came into being, before this the Old Testament saints of God followed the Lamb of God (Rev.14.4), being the children of God. Because Jesus Christ had no then come none of the Old Testament saints could be known as Christians, only followers of the Lamb, the Lamb being Jesus Christ. The Job's of the old dispensation followed none other than Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, so were, invisibly Christians, one with us, making up the church of Jesus Christ.

After the close of the Old Testament prophets ceased, though through out the centuries you meet up with the J.N.Darby's, the Joseph Smith', the Charles Russell's, the Fox's, that all claimed to be sent of God, with a new message from God, and always declaring that what they bring is that which has been lost since the times of the apostles.

If we take a strict definition and say that only those who had prophetic visions count, then

  • Jesus Christ
  • Agabus, The Acts 11:28, 21:10
  • Silas and Judas Acts 15:32
  • John the Revelatior. The entire book of revelations
  • And as significant passages of Daniel are quoted in the Book of Revelations - Daniel.

And if we take a slightly looser definition.

Islam has more or less re-apportioned Jewish and Christian prophets as Islamic prophets and argues that all of these prophets are part of a larger Islamic prophetic tradition.
