Blue whales don't eat fish; their diet is almost exclusively krill. Krill are tiny crustaceans. They also eat another related crustacean called copepods. Blue whales can hold 90 kilograms (200 pounds) of mixed food and water in their mouths. They can eat up to 3600 kilograms (8000 pounds) of food in a day.
An Adult blue whale can kill upto 40 million krill per day. They can eat nearly 3500 kilograms of krill in a single day. They need nearly 1.5 million kilocalories of energy per day and so, they nearly eat nonstop. Small fish, crustaceans and squids too get caught when they trap krill in their mouth.
They scoop up large quantities of water into their mouth along with krill and other small aquatic creatures and then filters and push the water out. All remaining animals are swallowed.

Well, it all depends on what whale it is. if it is a larger whale like the belluger or the blue whale it would eat 230 tons of shrimp and 80 tons of small fish. if it was a smaller breed it would eat about half that amount. good luck!
