Once I told somebody this, and this confused them because they thought that the Southern Ocean wasn't swimmable in either. Well actually on the south coast of Tasmania, (an Australian Island), the Southern Ocean isn't really that good for swimming in as there are cold currents, but people enjoy relaxing on the beach near the Southern Ocean because it is nice and warm, they can be like the south of France, and if there weren't a series of cold currents coming from the Southern Ocean at the north coast of the big island of Antarctica. Not very many people like swimming in the Southern Ocean because of the cold currents, but for where the Southern Ocean is at that point, it should be like swimming in the coast of Spain.
