Best Answer

A neutron star can't be as small as a grain of sand - it would not have enough mass, hence, not enough gravity, to keep being a neutron star.

Also, it is not appropriate to talk about the WEIGHT of a star.

A neutron star has a MASS of millions of tons for every cubic centimeter.

This density is approximately equivalent to the mass of the entire human population compressed to the size of a sugar cube

Sand particles range in diameter from 0.0625mm (or 1⁄16 mm, or 62.5 micrometers) to 2 millimeters. To make it simpler for some people, a grain of sand is really, really small.
