When you say a "24 foot round" pool, we're going to assume that's the pool's diameter.

The capacity of the pool is (pi) R2 D = (pi) (12)2 (4.5) = 2,035.75 ft3 = 15,228.5 gallons (rounded)

Again, that's the capacity. We have no way of knowing how much water is in it.

It's the middle of February for gosh sakes. For all we know, it could be empty.

45,000 litres

Could have sworn question asked GALLONS... Easiest way to close enough answer is Diameter * Diameter * average depth * 5.9, in this case: 24 * 24 * 4 * 5.9 = 13,593 gallons. For pool chemical dosing, round it to nearest 500 gallons, in this case 13,500 gallons is close enough.

At that size and filled to a depth of 4 feet, the pool contains about 13,593 gallons of water.
